My First College Paper I NEED OPIONIONS?

So I am working on writing my first college paper ever. Its about Xenoplantation, also referred to as and more commonly known as Interspiecies Transplantation. I have to write one thousand words about supporting it and what good and bad can come of it. It's where we are trying to use parts of animal like hearts, liver, kidneys etc in humans in order to save lives, like for those who are waiting for a heart transplant but may not get it and can die, we are trying to find a heart from another spiecies that may work in humans. Things sort of like that. There are tons of information on the internet if you want to learn more before answering.
Anyways I need opinions of people about Xenotransplantation with a first and last name, if you dont want to give your real then just make up a name that acutally sounds like a name (dont make it Strawberry Stripper or something like that) Thanks so much for those of you who help!
Answer:
Quentin Felosopho - It's my opinion that anything we can do to save a life should be tried. If stem cell research can help, great. If cloning tissues and organs help, awesome. If pulling a liver outta Bessie the family cow will save my aunt's life, I'll get the saw.

It really comes down to what you want to do when you think you might die due to organ failure. Personally, I would want to try anything possible, and then try things that might not seem logical. Anything to keep me alive.

Good luck on your paper.
Were Xenoplantation a viable human alternative to organ shortages there would be no stem cell debate. Cloning of species would be a dead-end field of research. We could just grab a pig heart when ours wears out or a horse peter if we'd been born under-endowed.

It doesn't work that way. While we may only be a chromosome different that many species on the planet, that minute difference is enough to make the difference in whether we develop in the womb into a mouse or a human - hence mice are an excellent research line comparred to APES with whom we share less genetic commonality than chimpanzees.

Artificial organs are a more viable alternative to Xenoplantation and there have been no great strides in that research initiative execept for the artificial heart (which pales in comparison to a human donor heart).

In a nutshell, we are a complicated species - all of us who inhabit the planet, not just humans. As such, there are no easy answers forthcoming.

Hi Alikat,
My first suggestion, whether requested or not, is that you remove the "so" and "like" and "anyways" from your writings, all of these words are useless and do not belong in quality written or oral presentations. When you compose a presentation remove all unnecessary words making your sentences succinct and clear. If you begin a sentence which describes the sentence before, do not start out with "it". There is no it with which the reader can Identify.
I offer here an example from your first few sentences which you might consider as an alternative way to express your point:

"My first college level written report is on the subject of Xenoplantation. I am required to discuss the moral, ethical and physical benefits or drawbacks of this practice, which is the replacement of human organs using animal organs. Interspecies transplantation, as it is commonly referred, has many serious public concerns such as the affect on the animal donor, how the recipient body will respond using a foreign organ and other moral and ethical issues."

My paragraph uses a third of the words while presenting the reader with a clear picture of the subject. I hope this helps.

One of the best tools you can use to help you proof your written work while you compose is the spell check feature. Use the settings of this function to have the software also do a grammar check as well. Learn from your mistakes and you will be a world-class writer in no time.

Finally, on this subject, a well-written piece with marginal material will ensure at least a fair grade on any subject.

My opinion on the subject of Xenoplantaion is irrelevant and uneducated, however, I will state that my greatest concern is for the unfortunate animals that are bred for this purpose. Animals have the right to live their lives without being tortured or killed.
We can find better ways to resolve our health problems.
