My doctor is changing my meds today...?

I can't remember if he said Serzone or Tranxene. Anyone with any experience taking either of these, please share your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
Answer:
well you dont need to remember what he said ,as both are prescription drugs...
serzone (Nefazodone) a post synaptic 5-HT2A antagonist and a weak serotonin re uptake inhibitor given as an antidepressant which would be an alternative to Wellbutrin (Bupropion) a norepinehrin re uptake inhibitor.
Tranxene (Clorazepate) a benzodiazepine which is an anxiolytic/sedative can be used in place of ativan (lorazipam) also a benzodiazepine.
are you sure you weren't prescribed both?and if you really dont remember ... then get back in touch with your doctor and ask him to state clearly what he's given as no one's 'experience' can help.
Also, given that both of these medications are prescription drugs, you will need to pick them up at the pharmacy...ask the pharmacist any questions you have. If you do mail order, you are doing a disservice to yourself, but you can still call the hotline from the mail order place and talk to a pharmacist or call your doctor.
Take 2 pills in hand, one from each kind. Blindfold yourself and take 1 of them, and keep the other 1 hidden. Let someone trustworthy see it. Note down its effects.

After a week, blindfold yourself again and take the other hidden pill. Note down its effects.

Decide which one had best results. Ask the person which 1 was which. Choose that medicine.

:D
